The number one, Grade-A, world-class, 24-karat dumbass
He drags along his wife & kids to defect to the DPRK and then after he realizes it isn't quite the utopia he expected he abandons his family in a totalitarian crap hole so he can defect away from the DPRK.
Remember, his PhD in Marxism is to let people know that he's compassionate and concerned about the wellbeing of others and that he's not some selfish bastard.
Probably just wanted the free health care.
