No, really, this should be amusing: “Jimmy Carter to address the Democratic National Convention”. Or, as DrewM puts it in his post headline at Ace of Spades, “A Touching Moment At This Year's Democratic Convention: Jimmy Carter Will Pass The Torch Of Worst Post WWII President To Barack Obama”.
On the Republican side, I am delighted to see that Rand Paul has been invited to speak at the GOP convention, and am eager to hear his speech. He strikes me as someone who’s completely unafraid of the liberal ideological juggernaut, and the miasma of political correctness that emanates from it.
Unrelated update: Romney’s not just a felon, but a murderer (well, it's not like we didn't know that Obama and his minions were going to wage one of the dirtiest campaigns in history, right?)

ReplyDeleteBarack Obama has had an enduring impact on the lives of millions of men and women and their children's future, and for many of them, that impact has been devastating.
Two can play that game.
And it will be even more devastating as the country has to pay back those five trillion dollars Obama borrowed in less than four years. Not to mention trying to dig out from under the mess Obama's signature policies has created. But those won't be the Iwon's problems, will they?
ReplyDelete"Oh, By the Way: The Woman Mitt Romney Killed ... had health insurance through HER employer."
ReplyDeleteObama is indeed the Worst Post WWII President. And I'd go one step further: he's the Worst Post-Revolutionary Way President.
Jeff: Please don't confuse us with facts!
ReplyDeleteI'll try, Paco. But facts are so......irresistible.
ReplyDelete"Post WWII"?
ReplyDeleteWhy so limited? I think he's got Buchanan beat hands down for worst EVAH!
Wow. Carter and Clinton. And all the while, America will be watching football.
ReplyDeleteDeborah Leigh said...As Jimmy passes the albatross torch, we shudder at the level that bar was set, and look warily to its' ever lowering. While Carter built houses, what will Obama build? Well, whatever it is, no doubt it will mean Michelle needs a f@ncy $$$$$ outfit. Remember, the shoes make the outfit.
ReplyDeletePaco, perhaps it is time for our detective friend to look for those evasive bits of Obama history. Please. (insert pleading here)
Deborah Leigh said... Speaking of conventions...Paco, will JP be in attendance at the GOP event?
ReplyDeleteDeborah: I'm sure he'll be there behind the scenes (the Koch brothers owe him money).
