Up to now, it looked like Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was racing former SecState Condi Rice in a quest to rack up the most frequent-flier miles.Final destination: Leavenworth? (A guy can dream, can’t he?)
But it seems Clinton might have competition from an unlikely source: Attorney General Eric Holder, who has been quite the jet-setter of late. We hear he’s planning a trip next month to Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries. That intercontinental jaunt will cap off a summer that has included visits by the AG to Denmark, Germany, Guam, Malaysia and Singapore.
Just after a House subcommittee approved an effort to hold Holder in contempt of Congress for refusing to turn over documents relating to the “Fast and Furious” controversy, the nation’s top lawyer boarded a plane bound for Copenhagen. The two-day trip also included a stop in Berlin.
Last month, he made a nine-day sweep that included Hono¬lulu, Guam, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
“I wonder how hard it would be to learn Brazilian.”
There's supposed to be a gentlemen's agreement not to prosecute officials of a previous administration, something that I needs reconsideration. And it's almost certain that Holder has a signed, undated, blanket pardon from Obama in his possession.
ReplyDeleteThat said, given the way the Obama Administration has been raping America, I find it hard to believe that these scoundrels will be allowed to get off Scott free. So does Holder, no doubt.
But he doesn't need to travel this much for that. And since his mission is to work inside the USA, I can only see mischief on his part in all of this. I can't say what sort, but these character have got to be desperate, given how bad the Obama campaign is going.
Now that Mexico has gotten too hot, he's probably scouting out new markets for his arms dealing business.
