By the way...
...congratulations to the San Francisco Giants for their (sob!) commanding victory over the Detroit Tigers.
During their early years the Mets had a great sign guy in their audience. He had a sign for almost everything After the first Met's pitch of the season he would drag out his "Wait until next year" sign.

Much as I wanted the Tigers to win, I'm glad Bochy got the monkey off his back from the Padres being swept by the hated Yankees in '98.
Prety much got the monkey off of his back in 2010 when they won the World Series. Giants-Cards-Giants in the last three.
A sweep? Are you friggin' kidding me? Don't you guys know how much money you just lost MLB? Not to mention YOUR 10 grand per game bonuses...
