Twenty states have petitioned for peaceful secession (Texas has collected more than 25,000 signatures).
I think I'd like to be an admiral in the Arizona Navy.

Petitioning for secession? No. You just tell them that you're the Republic of Texas. And thanks for the military bases.
ReplyDeleteInteresting......
ReplyDeleteTexas even has its own electrical grid, separate from the rest of the union.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting.....
ReplyDeleteSumbitch. I gotta sign that petition!
ReplyDelete/And thanks for the Navy bases!
If California and Massachusetts seceded (taking Chicago and Detroit with 'em), the rest of the country would probably be just fine.
ReplyDeleteSpiny, don't forget Washington, DC.
ReplyDeleteDeborah Leigh said...Texas is the only one thatt can do it because they started as a Republic. You would make a fine Admiral in the Texas Navy, Paco. Stacy McCain could get that ambassadorships to Vanavatu. Everyone should get in in the ground floor while they can.
