With the Republican establishment apparently content to throw its weight behind a permanent employment plan for losers (“Re-elect John Boehner. Just because”), Americans intent on preserving individual liberty and a much more limited role for the state are going to have to get creative.

ReplyDeleteWe smaller nations seem, hopefully, ultimately, able to withstand the more loopy 'progressives'.
ReplyDeleteIt may be a matter of size, with the US having achieved critical mass of fruitloops in the system, a 'loopy meltdown', which in this case means they achieve maximum power.
So it might hard to follow Canada till we see a leaner meaner US. Sorry to say.
But the Tea Party is a great start!

ReplyDeleteWell, as a participant in those years in the wilderness, I can say that, ultimately, what kept the Conservatives out was what we call "Red Tories", people who think they can only win by adopting "progressive" or "liberal" policies.
ReplyDeleteWe did elect, finally, a conservative and hear the progressive liberal media and "intelligencia" howl and splutter.
To finally rid the land of liberal domination, universities must be re-taken from thee left.
