Happy Feet Friday

Leggy Vera-Ellen in a lively dance number.

When I saw the name of Vera-Ellen I immediately thought of Vera Lynn. She was the WWll British singer who probably did the most famous of the WWll songs "We'll Meet Again" along with "The White Cliffs of Dover" and There Will Always been an England".

Yes, I know, somewhat off point. But after making me research that Qing butcher you deserve it.

Hey, I had to google "Mao's wife" to find the name (I remembered her being sort of a junior dictator in her own right, and one of the "Gang of Four", but couldn't recall her name).

C'mon, man. This is not heavy lifting.

No, certainly not heavy lifting by any means. I'm just getting so tired of these people. And all these historical parallels are becoming very scary.

Don't remember ever hearing of Vera-Ellen. Vera Lynn is still alive, a robust woman of 95!:)

I am surprised -and delighted - to hear that Vera Lynn is alive and kicking. Really love her songs.
