Deborah Leigh...Earlier in the week, I had to make a trip to the emergency room at the West Los Angeles Veterans Hospital. While waiting in triage to see a doctor, I watched the security guard clear a frail wheelchair bound vet, not the person pushing him. Upon inquiry, the guard said because the man promised he would be right back. He acknowledged that he had no proof; only the man's word. It was interesting that he didn't check the cane, but looked in his shirt pocket. A TSA employee in the making.
Maybe this should be required reading by all children preparing to fly.
