In loving memory…

Deborah said...Thankfully, the Andrews Sisters werr heard in our home when I was growing up. My Dad knew the Andrews Sisters and the Macguire Sisters. Luckily, American Legion Post 826 (Richard & I belong to) has a Big Band dance every month. Angel City (17 pieces) has the place jumping.
ReplyDeleteNow that the sisters are reunited, they must be keeping the angels jumping. Thanks, Patty, for all the hours of fantastic music!
It's always a sad when one of the purveyors of real music leaves us.
ReplyDeleteOne of the big pluses of the interweb is that music like theirs still has a chance to be seen by the later generations. And appreciated.
The Andrews Sisters spirit remains with us:
