Sunday funnies

(Via Doug Ross)

Now, that's art.

Strange combination.

Petty tyranny.

One of my old favorites, Jonathan Winters:

To the optimist, the glass is half full.
To the pessimist, the glass is half empty.
To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

  1. Dang, I miss comedians that were actually funny.

Do those "undocumented" guns get a path to legal citizenship in 8 years?

    As an engineer, I concur.

  3. An as engineer, I concur as well.

    But I have an addendum:

"To a leftie, the glass is RAAAAACIST!"

  4. Winters was absolutely great. At one time I had all his albums. His Maude Frickert was always my favorite.

Don't overlook Victor Buono. Try some of his YouTube videos based upon his comedy album. You'll be glad you did, I'm thinking.

  5. YoJ: I'll be sure to check him out. I didn't know he did stand-up comedy.

  6. I just saw your book, Che: The Lost Diaries is on Amazon, Paco (I've been out of town). Congratulations! I'll be getting my copy forthwith.

  7. Amazon: Che: The Lost Diaries is "temporarily out of stock".

Well, well, well... do we have a runaway bestseller on our hands?

  8. "To the engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be."

The architect designs a glass-free environment, which no one uses, till a compromise is reached and old fashioned glasses of water are restored.

  9. Hand the engineer a filled cup, and confuse him.

    Cheers
