Sunday funnies

"10 Little-Known Facts About Your Favorite Comic Book Characters".

This is something I'd definitely like to try at work.

After a busy morning, chasing one another around their playpen, Doug and Skeeter - the official ferrets of Paco Enterprises - catch 40 winks.

Outwitting the taxman, Spanish style.

I have the satisfaction - I think - of not being this bad a writer (although describing pants as "a southern necessary" strikes me as kind of cool).

Gorilla vs. Canada goose (note the gorilla's hilariously lame chest pounding as he retreats at high speed).

  1. I can imagine a lefty bake sale:

    Bolshevik brownies
    Amerikkkan apple pie
moonbat muffins (with nuts, of course)
Communist cake (served by the teaspoon, and you have to wait in line)

  3. Just don't fluff them ferrets up, feed 'em a bunch of steroids and sell them as toy poodles.

  4. Wonder Woman Was Created as a Feminist Ideal

  5. Rebecca: I keep ferrets now. They previously belonged to Paco, Jr, and when he moved into his most recent apartment, he discovered (after he had signed the lease, of course) that the complex didn't permit ferrets. So, here they are.

Mojo: No worries on that score. If I did pump them up with steroids, I'd probably wind up in front of a Senate committee.

  10. I am sorry to hear that Paco. I remember you telling us how much you enjoyed her.
Ferrets are a hoot, aren't they?

  11. Pogria: Yes, Lucy's remains are interred beneath the zinnia bed.

I wasn't too keen on taking the ferrets at first, but, I have to admit, they are a lot of fun. Each one has a very distinct personality, and they're quite entertaining.
