"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Deborah said... Sadly, I missed this one. It will be on the list after we get settled in Texas. But until then, could you kindly fill me in? Don't worry about spoiling it, because my brain...well, let's just leave it at "don't worry".
ReplyDeleteIt's a fine western, in which Jimmy Stewart seeks the man (or men) who have been selling guns to the Indians (who have wiped out a cavalry patrol, including Stewart's younger brother). He runs up against a hard-bitten old rancher who has dreamed that a tall stranger would one day kill his son (a spoiled and violent young man). Turns out that the man in the rancher's dream is not Stewart, however, but someone much closer to home.
ReplyDeleteThat's as much as I'll tell you, 'cause I don't want to ruin the ending for you. It's a classic, be sure to catch it when you can.
