Looks like Julia will have time to knit some woolen bandicoots and koalas in addition to a kangaroo
Julia Gillard is out as head of Australia's Labor Party, losing a leadership ballot to the Boy Who Lived in a Car.
Wha?? Lying about policy, ravaging the treasury, targeting opponents and insulting voters isn't a way to get reelected? Whodathunkit? It seems to work here in the US.....
Australia is small potatoes for Rudd of course. Merely a springboard to his future global eminence, which he pursues like a rottweiler, something in New York or Washington with power (and contacts with celebrities). He probably would have done some good in the corporate world. Our bad luck he chose politics.
Bugger. Was so looking forward to voting her out.
