Looks like Julia will have time to knit some woolen bandicoots and koalas in addition to a kangaroo

Julia Gillard is out as head of Australia's Labor Party, losing a leadership ballot to the Boy Who Lived in a Car.

  3. Well, now, this is interesting... when the ALP gets hammered in the upcoming election, does Joolia blame Kevni for the debacle?

  4. Kevni may do a little better than the total blow-out Juliar would have got, but Labor is still going to take a beating.

Wha?? Lying about policy, ravaging the treasury, targeting opponents and insulting voters isn't a way to get reelected? Whodathunkit? It seems to work here in the US.....

  6. Ah, the return of the Earwax Eater. Australia, you've got your work cut out for you.

  7. I only wish our liberal party was as dysfunctional as the ALP.

  8. Aiyee! The stamp of Zardoz.

Australia is small potatoes for Rudd of course. Merely a springboard to his future global eminence, which he pursues like a rottweiler, something in New York or Washington with power (and contacts with celebrities). He probably would have done some good in the corporate world. Our bad luck he chose politics.

  9. Well then, bruce, should we expect a battle royale for the UNSG between Kevni and Obysmal in the near future?
