Not in Fidel Castro's league yet...

...but getting there:
President Obama’s speech on jobs and the economy Wednesday in Illinois took 1 hour, 6 minutes, making it longer than every State of the Union address of his presidency except the one in January of 2010 when he spoke for 1 hour 9 minutes.

  1. Did anybody listen besides his captive audience and his media beeches?

  2. I confess I didn't. I'd rather listen to a pride of lions scratching their claws on a chalk board for an hour than tune into that guy for 2 minutes.

  3. A new definition of insanity: if you can listen to Obo the Clown speak for an hour and not kill yourself, you're insane.

  4. Deborah .... Listening to Obama drone on is like being subjected to the loud music tactic our military used.

  5. I can barely read his tripe, let alone listen to his voice. Ugh!

  6. Apparently some conservative columnists like James Taranto and Jonah Goldberg did listen to Obumbler's speech, so that we don't have to. Now that's selflessness.

  7. What, you unpatriotic swine, refusing to listen to your president giving an exact set of proposals to fix the economy and to give jobs to the jobless ! Even if it is the 7th (or 8th, I forget) time he has done this pivot, it is vital, I say vital, that we all listen our very best so we can be worthy of this towering intellect who rules us.

What, after all, is a few hours in a lifetime when it brings such joy amidst the revelations of a towering intellect (did I already say that, towering I say again) to inform us merely mortal humans who wait in wonder for guidance steady leadership.

Not for us the mere mouthings of the nattering nabobs of negativism (thank Spiro for that) who refuse to be swayed. Listen, I exhort, listen, and be enlightened !
