That is scary. Sounds like the liberal agenda has oozed it's way into the police training academies. Liberals with a badge. Really scary.
It's also a bureaucratic tendency. "Hey, we have all this equipment, we gotta justify having it! Go out and bust down some doors, 'kay?"But mostly, it's the fascist layer under the liberal facade.
