Man, I almost didn't make it into the first grade and didn't even know it
I had to chuckle at a PBS newsreader awhile ago. His report went something like: "In 1961...a B-52 broke apart over North Carolina, and a hydrogen bomb it was carrying could have exploded. But, it didn't explode."
Really? Are you sure it didn't explode? Maybe the government covered it up. You know how they are about things like that.
Yeah, I know he was just reading the prompter, but still stupidly funny.
OTOH, I would have been spared four miserable years at Ft. Bragg.
