One important key to the comparative success of Asian-Americans

The Asian-American community doesn’t have the equivalent of an Al Sharpton.

If trends continue, it's only a matter of time. But I suspect Asian-Americans will never completely view themselves as helpless victims, because they don't have this culture of "Whitey owes me".

My uncle lives in Balwyn, and I always spend a few days at his place when I fly back to Melbourne. A lot of the city has changed over the 20 years since I moved to Perth but Balwyn has been mostly untouched. It still feels like a very quiet and very safe neighbourhood.
Uncle explained that even though the affluent white families have been moving out, it's affluent Chinese families that are moving in. Those kids are hard at it students; they get home from school and hit the books.
