He's being a trigle public in his quest for bribes, isn't he? Must've picked it up in Chicago, where I gather there is a standard charge for each official you want to bribe.
For "trigle" read "trifle." Perview is my fiend.
Deborah .... It's too bad Texans can't vote for Ken. He'd have two votes from our household. But we can't for obvious reasons, and then because we're not Democrats. No ACORN votes here.
Does anyone else think that sign could be misconstrued as pleading for Terry not to sell out? As if that's a fat chance. Maybe it's the years of being blamed for all the shameful, deceitful acts of the Dens that have me seeing double.
OT Richard and I are frantically packing and preparing for the BIG move to our first house in our new state. If anyone has any nerves to spare, please....! We hope to take video of the new adventure, and I do mean adventure. Two cats who will meet for the first time at the vet's for the pre-adventure check up, and then spend over two thousand miles and a week in transit...yeah, this should be fun. In this case, drugs are our friend. Stay tuned, y'all.
Deborah, very best wishes, and don't Drive Like Hell...
For the sake of the cats, I would Drive Like Hell. 2000 miles in one week is irresponsible, laggardly behavior, your cats will grow into panthers, 2 and a half days
(60 hours max) is the duration recommended by 4 out of 5 veterinarians, see the documentary "Cannonball Run" for informative tips.
Great picture! I shared it with friends.
Deborah .... Bruce, it's funny you should mention that phrase. There is a sign in our new hometown, Hondo, that says "This is God's country, so don't drive like hell through it."
Jonah, never fear. We are spreading the trip out. First day: Los Angeles to Benson, AZ. Day 2: Benson to El Paso, TX. Stay in El P for four days. Day 7: El Paso to Kerrville. Day 8: Kerrville to new home in Hondo, TX. Hopefully, the drugs for the cats are human friendly. If not Benadryl is.
Deborah, no coincidence - I did my research. I like the name of the town, but I think John Wayne is more of a 'Rooster Cogburn'.
