Best wishes to everyone from the Paco Command Center for a happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
And just to set the proper mood, here is John Wharton's classic piece from 2012, an alternative take on It's a Wonderful Life (in a nutshell: Mr. Potter was slandered!)
Merry Christmas to you and your family Paco!

A belated merry Christmas to one and sundry (I was out of town)!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year too!
(Uh ... Mr. Paco sir ... about that raise?)
Deborah .... We sincerely hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and received many nice presents. We returned home from a suberb day complete with a magnificent feast at YO Resort, and a trip to the theater to see "Frozen" ((highly recommend it) to find a kitten sitting at our Backdoor. She dug into the kibble but then scarfed a can of wet food without pause. Contentedlly, she turned to showing her gratitude and getting petted... she already won our hearts. So now we are pleased to announce the blessed arrival of Clara Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI asked a friend which vet to take her to since she has a weepy eye from a bit of a cold. Well, funny thing is the vet has your name. Must be good.
Deborah .... Just to clarify my last post regarding the vet, he has your name Paco. He even looks like he might be a distant member of your clan. His folks come from your area. Do you have any relatives in Texas?
ReplyDeleteDeborah: Had some, I believe, who were living there at one time, related to one of my great uncles.
