How de Blasio views New York today...

How de Blasio thinks it will look after a few years of his socialist administration...

"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Happy NY, friends. But NY will not be happy after Blasio. Like the boatload of 'climate activists' rescued in the antarctic - by those nasty 'old white men' who actually keep everything functioning, God knows why - the NYers will see where the Yellow Brick Road leads.
ReplyDeleteIt will be amusing for those of us who don't live there. Harry Belafonte is pleased - that alone is ominous.
Good and hard, my friends, good and hard...
ReplyDeletePrecisely!
ReplyDeleteNo bailouts from the rest of us when fiscal reality comes for Gotham. Let the place go bankrupt. That was the clear choice of The People when they elected socialists to govern, excuse me rule over them.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to come up with a reason I should care.
ReplyDeleteI can't.
If his policies fail, he can always blame the failure on white southern radicals.
ReplyDeleteThe white radicals of the deep South, of Staten Island?
ReplyDeleteCheers
Minicapt, I think the go-to "south" for the coastal elites involve plantations, strumming banjos, and cars with numbers on the hood. Not South Boston, not South Philly.
ReplyDeleteIt's those nasty vile Duck Dynasty types. They ruin everything. Even things they are nowhere near and had nothing to do with. Probably because they don't join in the cargo cult thinking and thus sabotage the good intentions of progressive policy.
They should just change the city's name to New Detroit right now and get it over with.
ReplyDeleteI didn't read Gospodin Trotsky's inaugeral speech. Did he make any mention of combatting the plagues of rats and bedbugs infesting New York now?
ReplyDeleteDeborah.... In the words of that great sage, country artist Jodee Messina, "My give-a-damn is busted".
