"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
A hog that big and that old is liable to be pretty gamey.
So, pork sammiches all around then?
Deborah... Hope he got it in one shot cuz those critters are the definitions on tough and mean. Good thing he was in stand.Mojo, you can have mine. Everyone down here in South Texas says that the big ones aren't good eating. The litte ones, 50-75 lbs are the best. The monsters are great for braggin' and trophy. We missed seeing the ones that rooted in the landscaping, but it wasn't hard to tell it was hogs because the stench hung heavy in the air.
The article says he'll be turning the hog into sausages. Between the grinding and a careful application of spices, that'll be good eating!
They are vicious, destructive, ugly-tempered animals. When I refer to certain people as pigs, this is the type to which I refer.
Deborah... Jeff, his plans for sausage may be based on assumption. It would be interesting to know if it was edible.
A bigger bore than Dingy Harry?Cheers
Cap'n: No, nobody said that.
