On balance, I'm a somewhat indifferent Steve Miller fan, but I do like his version of the old blues song, "You Better Come On Into My Kitchen".

"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
I liked that he wouldn't let his music be played on AM radio.
ReplyDeleteSteve Miller is one of the few artists who has zero songs that send me scurrying to twist the dial away. None of his stuff is my favorite but none of it actively offends me either.
ReplyDeleteAnon: That admirably describes my own view.
ReplyDeleteSteve Miller isn't one of my favourites, however he does have a couple of songs I sing along with. My favourite line is "I really love your peaches, want to shake your tree"
ReplyDeletePleasant listening.

ReplyDeleteWell, "Abracadabra" was a bit of an earworm.
So was that "woo woo" bit in that one song Spiny.
ReplyDeleteI used to think Steve Miller had one good song, Hypnotized, then I found out it was Fleetwood Mac.
I'm with you Paco, that's a good song.
