Great movie. Saw it yonks ago, but I somehow hadn't noticed how much character the psychopathic truck had. It's not shown here but I love the quiet poetry in the absolute last moments when, the truck and car having being dispensed with, Weaver's character just sits on the edge of the cliff as the sun sets contemplating what has happened.

ReplyDeleteInterestingly, this film was originally a made-for-TV movie, but was received so positively that more footage was added to do a foreign theatrical release.
The evil truck out to get you reminds me of driving on the 401 in Ontario.
