Range war

Good stuff via Bob Belvedere from Dana Loesch on the standoff between rancher Cliven Bundy and the Bureau of Land Management (incidentally, Harry Reid may be playing his usual nefarious part in all of this).

"Are you gonna pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?"

Update: Round One goes to the rancher.

"Based on information about conditions on the ground and in consultation with law enforcement, we have made a decision to conclude the cattle gather because of our serious concern about the safety of employees and members of the public," Neil Kornze, director of the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, said in a statement.

After deploying snipers and attack dogs, they're concerned about safety?

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Deborah... Law enforcement wasn't going to shoot. They sure miscalculated with the scare tactics.

Harry and his developer buddies aren't done going to give up easily. They have a new "Laughlin" to build. The tortoise will go the way of the penguin.

I don't wish to be a Jeramia, but I am sure the feds have simply made a tactical withdrawal to figure out their next plan of attack.

Americans be ever vigilant and armed!

Robert: Oh, you better believe it. They're just regrouping.

-To paraphrase John Wayne: 'And they'll be back, as sure as the turning of the Earth'.

Perhaps the denouement, when it does come, will be remembered as our Boston Massacre.

-Thanks for the link, Sir Paco.
