This could be useful
I may consider training the staff of the Paco Command Center to use these tactics against the hordes of door-to-door salesmen we've had this summer.
I think that tactic only works if your rioters cooperate and stay in the same general area, and aren't throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails. I prefer the ferociously barking dog who makes door-to-door nuisances afraid to come in and reluctant to stick around (even though she'd run and hide if they did come in).
I'll gladly come and do some shifts at the Command Centre for the usual deal:

I think in Virginia you may need a permit to carry a cricket bat.
