Hey, great idea!

Jane Fonda is reportedly building a shrine to herself.

I think I'll build one, too. Not to Fonda, of course; to Pacoism. Commenters are invited to make sacred offerings of cash, gold and Chick-Fil-A discount coupons.

  1. I've got a box about half full of somewhat rusty nails, left over from building my house, that you can have.

  2. The best shrine for Jane Fonda would be a tombstone, although I imagine her grave will be unmarked. To keep people from desecrating it.

As for your shrine, Paco, would you settle for some reproduction Confederate cash? As a token of my esteem?

  3. I have a couple of jars full of buttons, Paco. We could string them and hang them all around your shrine.

  4. By the way, merry Christmas to Paco, Mrs. P, and all the Pacoites!

  5. Don't have any of that. I've got an autographed picture of Gina Elise - and you remember what Charlton Heston said about his gun?

  6. But Gregory, what doth it profit a man to gain a Gina Elise picture, yet lose his soul?

R-man: I've been looking through the Book of Paco, and I think "rusty nails" qualifies as irreverence, if not outright blasphemy. Maybe if you polish 'em up a little.

Jeff: I'll take it! I can paper the walls of the rectory.

Rebecca: For a button-down guy like me, that would be fine.

  7. Instead of hiking up a damn mountain for an hour (I've done that before, there's nothing up there,) I'll smoke a good cigar.
Instead of oil in my bath, in your honor, if you'll inform us of the approved sexual fantasy, I promise to give it a thought next time I'm in the shower.

  8. Sorry, Lord Paco. All we have is the tanned hides of the loathesome left-wing hippes and greens we have sacrificed to the dark Lords of the VRWC. That's Tuesdays, right after the cricket.

Oh, and some wine-cups made from their skulls.

    Cheers
