Cameron wins in UK

The Tories managed to turn back challenges on several fronts to win handily.

Since the Conservative Party in Britain is pretty much like the RINO wing of the Republican Party in the U.S - only more so - I am having no trouble containing my enthusiasm.

Update: One indisputable plus from the election is that the execrable George Galloway – Islamist fellow-traveler and left-wing ideological stink-bomb – was tossed out in favor of a Labour candidate who has actually suffered under the culture of the Religion of “Peace”.

Of course, Galloway may wind up being remembered best (if remembered at all) for a non-political episode:
Millions in Britain also know him for his 2006 appearance on "Celebrity Big Brother," in which he performed interpretive dance and lapped imaginary milk while pretending to be a cat.

“I will now execute a short dance exercise of my own creation: the grand pas anti-zioniste.”

“Thank you, Mistress. Kissing Saddam Hussein’s bum is thirsty work!”

A spectacular rejection of Labour and of Milliband personally.

Specifically it's a rejection by the people of secular internationalism and an affirmation of traditional identities, whatever that's worth in the current power balance: too little too late maybe.

Aren't Republicans the opposite of Tories?

I was pulling for UKIP myself, but I'll take what I can get.

UKIP totaled 3.5 mil, 3rd overall. Bright side.

Between Labor and the Conservatives, the lesser of the two evils won.

George Galloway certainly deserves that and worse. Should have been jailed for his sleazy gun-running oil deals too.

As a member of the Scottish minority, may I request Madam President that african-american dominated areas be made more welcoming to members of my community? I'd like to see more men wearing kilts and sporans, playing bagpipes, and fighting with sabres. I see you've already adopted deep-fried mars-bar cuisine, so that's a start.

I'm hoping the Scots go full Jacobite, let's take up where Bonnie Prince Charlie left off!

You just had to bring that picture of Galloway, didn't you! I last saw it back in 2006 and it took me a very long time to be able to sleep relatively comfortable.
Now I need to book an emergency session with my shrink. Again!
You, sir, mr. Paco, yes you, you are a very mean man, yes you are!!!

Galloway being booted out of office is good news, although I'd be happier if he was booted out of an airplane flying at 30,000 feet.

The rest of the news out of the former Great Britain ranges from not so much to meh!

Brewce, don't true Scotsmen fight with claymores? The sharp kind, not the exploding kind, of course.

And do deep fried Mars bars go with Scotch straight up, or on the rocks?
