Meanwhile, in North Korea

"North Korea executed its defense chief by putting him in front of an anti-aircraft gun at a firing range."

His offense? "Hyon Yong Chol, who headed the isolated nuclear-capable country's military, was charged with treason, including disobeying Kim and falling asleep during an event at which North Korea's young leader was present."

An anti-aircraft gun?

Was the word "pull" involved in this operation?

This was more probably a 'push' operation.

I guess it would be mercifully quick.

BTW, in sat images it looks like a row of large guns, aiming at a row of targets:

Wouldn't be much left of the targets.

Well, I blame it on too much Monty Python in my younger days. Now, I tend to interpret what's in the news through a Monty Python filter.

Like a third world dictator engaging in human skeet.

Reminds me of Caligula and indeed, any Roman emperor who got too killy with his peeps.

They didn't last long once they started killing the wrong people.

Could we see a change in crazed dictators?

Maybe we could sent them Obama.
Nah, the Norks are less devoted to their Dear Leader than MSNBC is to their Deer Leader.
