"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Putting aside all sorts of misgivings which I won't enumerate, I actually liked what Trump said here. Plain-speaking but fair, taking a stand. There's something refreshingly AMERICAN about him (I don't know how to do italics) and his directness. No one has mentioned how many grassroots Democrats must be listening and liking it, if they can overcome their wealth-envy. I don't know how your system works but I think Trump will pick up support all over the place from those who've had enough of the slide into growing chaos. Let's see.
Trump has certainly knocked the old-guard establishment on its collective arse, and I really like that, but I don't want him for president. I want some boring guy who's more business and less flash, somebody who can actually get things done without losing four or five fortunes along the way.
It's reported that the pope wants to meet visit illegal immigrants while in the US. I suggest he visit Planned Parenthood instead....but that might offend his socialist buddies.
