If you're wondering why the American air strikes against ISIS haven't been more successful...

...wonder no more:
The Islamic State knows the Americans’ rules of engagement. The terrorists are well aware that U.S. pilots won’t hit anything if there is even a chance of hurting a civilian. So of course the Islamic State positions its fighters and equipment near civilians.

Even in obvious cases, like a gathering of 300 oil trucks — more than one-quarter of the Islamic State’s entire fleet — American pilots have held off attacking for more than a year, while the oil smuggling business made the Islamic State richer and richer and the terrorist organization extended its reach to the streets of Paris.

You know how Hindus are forbidden to kill a cow? They say in India that invading Muslims would drive herds of cows in front of their armies. That was almost a thousand years ago. None of this is new. Our strategists should already factor that in. The Israelis are the most experienced at this type of warfare of course, and they manage to project power while being exceptionally humane.

Oh, come on. A couple of A-10s, with their 30mm Gatling gun would turn those tank trucks into a metallic Swiss cheese, and barely ruffle the hair of anyone a hundred yards from the target.

bruce, are you suggesting driving large herds of swine into ISIS forces to disrupt their defensive strategy?

rinardman, that sounds like a plan to me! I'll gladly chip in for a pig. Maybe we could add porky product to the bombs.

Now you're talking R-Man. Let's make some bacon.
