The questing spirit
Throughout the ages, there have been people who burned with curiosity to know what was on the other side of the mountain. Many have paid the ultimate price for their inquisitiveness. Here are ten explorers who never made it back.
Amazing stories. But there is one that is missing (yeah, it's redundant).... "The bear went over the mountain to see what he could see...". The part of the story that's never told, so as not to scare the kids, is the unknown fate of the bear. Sad and compelling.
