I do the same thing of realizing who is gone and who isn't. But I enjoy watching the classic movies for their superb craft. It's a tribute to all the participants.
One of the reasons I don't watch many older movies is having to note to myself who's dead and who's still alive.

DeleteMay Miss Lebeau rest in peace. Thankfully, we can enjoy her work. Her life would make a great film. Shoot it in black and white.
