I'm noodling how a rail gun will "level a terrorist camp", since it requires a line of sight to function, and most terrorist camps avoid being a convenient target. At least, I don't see how it could be used for indirect fire, with that high muzzle velocity. It's designed for slugfests between leviathans.
On the other hand, if you had one on a orbital platform ... .... ....
