Question

Has anybody out there heard of a company called Bemer? I think it's a European outfit that sells some kind of bed-size pad that is connected to electronic gizmos that supposedly help circulation. A friend of Mrs. Paco's is trying to interest her in one, but they are very pricey, and I can't find out anything about the product.

This looks like it could be it - the US site for a Swiss company.

Further: Here's an article about something called The Bemer 3000

Does it have a free trial period, or money-back guarantee? If not, I think I'd avoid it.

The 'science' of it sounds a bit fishy to me. "The unsurpassed BEMER-Signal sets a new standard in the industry with its complex, carefully tuned configuration and timing."

WTH is a "BEMER-Signal"?

Sorry to hear Mrs. Paco is suffering discomfort, Paco.

There are a lot of images, videos and other articles on the net about something called a Bemer 3000; many of the videos have been put up by the manufacturer.
I saw one image of a second-hand Bemer 3000 for sale for $2.5k.

Swimming can be good for promoting blood flow and circulation; it's also relatively weightless, so less strain on the joints.
What does your doctor recommend?

The doctor has recommended typical physical therapy, which may be sufficient. I'm a little worried that the Bremer may be the sort of thing offered by Paco Enterprises' health care division.

Paco, has the doctor mentioned that she might have to wear a defibulator vest? It seems to be the step after an ablation. Then there is the implantation of one.

Mike_W's suggestion of water exercise sounds perfect. For times when she doesn't feel like going out or the weather is inclement, a recumbent bike might be good.

Best wishes to you both!

Mrs. Paco had an ablation

Please disregard the last line.

Paco, there are several companies that make this kind of device. This link shows a comparison between the iMS2000 and Bemer. The former is the winner, and costs less.

Apparently this technology has been very effective on race horses. There was a site that stated 5 out of the last 7 Kentucky Derby winners have used it. While Mrs. Paco won't qualify for the Derby....

Well, as I say, she ain't exactly gallopin' around like Seabiscuit these days, but that don't mean she can't wear an electric horse blanket if that's what she wants to do, I guess.
