Finally. The more this happens, the more the hard-core fascists of antifa will find themselves outnumbered and friendless as their weaker-willed college kid demographic, who were just in it for the fun, opt out.
The "Silent Majority" is silent no more. They finally tired of seeing people, especially the handicapoed, assaulted while police stood down. Good for them!
Noam Chomsky has the temerity to say the Left is the peaceful side. Wrong as always.
Remember that those "antifa" twerps, who use fascistic, brownshirt tactics against others, are the ones who insist that free speech and disagreeing with them are acts of violence. Suddenly they learn what violence really is and that those who opose them can use it too, and they run back to mommy crying. What wusses. No doubt they'll stick to beating up old grandmothers in the future, although they'd better be careful of any of them carrying canes.
The police at Berzerkely had orders to stand down and not restrain the rioters. Next time they will probazbly be ordered to beat up the targets of the "antifa" rioters to protect the dear little snowflakes from being hurt, or even receiving wedgies.
There is a part of me that is glad that these leftists are getting what they dish out, but then again, I am getting really worried that there will be gunfire erupting at such an encounter in the not-too-distant future. This can only end badly.
BTW, I did see comments in other places that the Berzerkeley police searched only the Trump supporters and confiscated flagpoles and other implements, but did not search the leftists. Can anyone confirm this?
