PM May, not wanting to jump to unwarranted conclusions like Trump does, initially referred to the events as "potential terrorism". I guess she still was not for sure that it wasn't another of the usual Saturday night van hit-and-run and knife rampages that drunken Brit yobs are known for. /s off.
Ordinary police refused to approach because they were wearing fake suicide vests. It took 8 minutes for the SAS to 'respond', people were left throwing chairs and bottles to defend themselves. London Bridge AGAIN. Major major fail.
Election in 4 days. PM May seems unwell. this will send a lot of votes to UKIP, away from May. Meaning Jeremy Corbyn wins. On and on as you say, down we go, no bottom in sight yet.
Good for those who ran off the attackers by throwing chairs and bottles! They refused to be victims! That's the Britain we know. Lesson to jihadis: Never attack a pub.
Bruce, I don't follow British politics. Is there any hope for some sane person to take the PM after these attacks?
