I like mimosa trees; they provide a tropical accent, and fill the air with a sweet aroma.

The black-eyed Susans are in bloom, and competing with the crepe myrtle for attention.

And I'm really diggin' this mahogany-colored sunflower.

"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have a brown thumb. recently upgraded from a black thumb. My successes to date have been a so-so lawn, and two callicarpa americana plants that miraculously haven't died. This is spite of a nasty winter, and summer temperatures of 95 to 105 F (it's cooler today, around 90 F).
C'mon, Jeff! I bet your place looks like the National Botanical Garden.
