In other news from the animal kingdom, Florida Man seems to have lost his pet African warthog.
Two (involving dogs) from Powerline's "The Week in Pictures".

Mayweather vs. McGregor: bad lip reading (I wonder how far off from the real thing this dialogue was)...
Mom always said there'd be days like this.
Jon Gabriel hilariously spoofs James Comey's book.

The ignorance of some New Yorkers about the world outside New York knows no bounds.
Every time I see the phrase "James Comey's Book", I want to add the word "Cook" to it.
Re Jon Gabriel, you still have some very funny writers in USA, I even read ace's comment pages for the wit and laughs. I just wish these writers were making the msm entertainment without the PC filters.
Gabriel reminded of an amazon review for a horse face mask:
"It is day 87 and the horses have accepted me as one of their own. I have grown to understand and respect their gentle ways. Now I question everything I thought I once knew and fear I am no longer capable of following through with my primary objective. I know that those who sent me will not relent. They will send others in my place... But we will be ready"
Not sure why, but that tiger/raccoon story made me think of this classic.
A classic, indeed! And I can well see how that would have occurred to you.
Since they thought a raccoon was a tiger, what would they mistake the warthog for? It wouldn't be surprising if New Yorkers saw the warthog as a Pumba from "Lion King", and broke out in "Hakuna Matata".
