Et up with the dumbass

As a friend's father once said of Arab militants in the Middle East.

The newest Palestinian weapon? "Arson birds".

That photo with its description should be spread all over the internet. All the animal lovers, eco-warriors, environmentalists, and PETA would start screaming at the Palestinians go beat all hell. It's one thing to use children as suicide bombers (which probably doesn't bother a lot of the aforementioned much), but when you start abusing animals, watch out.

Depends. If the bird had converted to islam, then it would just be another jihadi suicide arsonist, giving it's life for good'ol mohammed. The animal rights crowd would be cool with that.

That's a double entendre in Brit/Australian English, 'There's bound to be trouble when there's arson around'. 'Stop arsin' around with those birds'.

Speaking of Brit, I love how Trump told Theresa May to sue the EU.

Gold point, Roman! But it then begs the question, if human jihadist get 72 virgins, what do birds get?

Rinardman, my apologies for not catching spellcheck's change to your name. Dang thing!

Deborah, there was a mistranslation regarding that whole 72 virgins thing.
Actually, it translates as 72 raisins.

That raisins idea makes no sense to me.If there is anything we know about Islam, it is that it is a warrior's faith. The picture of heaven Mo used to entice his gullible followers is the warrior's vision of heaven: all the beautiful girls you can shag and all the booze you can guzzle with no hangovers and no sergeants to spoil things.

One could come up with any number of hypotheses why it reads raisins in Aramaic. One guess might be that when the Quran was actually written, the word was used as a slang term among Muslim soldiers for nubile young females.
