The only thing lamer than Hillary Clinton...

...is her propaganda:
I used to worry that they wanted to turn the clock back to the 1950s. Now, I worry they want to turn it back to the 1850s.
That would be the Republicans who, apparently, want to return to the days of slavery.

Speaking of lame, what's going on with Nancy Pelosi? Now, I know her mental engine was never more than a puny four-cylinder, but it seems like the power train is coming apart, as well: "Speech problems mar Pelosi appearance: Says tax cut will add ‘2 children dollars more’ to deficit".

Democrats have never forgiven the Republicans for winning the Civil War and freeing their slaves. Even killing the President didn't calm them down.

If there was a return to slavery, who would be enslaved?

Does anyone take what Hillary says seriously?

Billary struggles for relevance. She does so by attempting to Trump the rheteoric of her competitors for the 2020 presidential fiasco, er, ah, ummmm, race, yes, the 2020 presidential race.

Scenario: Hillary and Crazy Aunt Nan sitting together in the common room of a nursing home, discussing politics. I mean, you could make the funniest movie of all time with that.

The salt mines are running low. However, I do have a friend who is a true blue, dyed-in-the-wool, toe tag Hillary devotee. She preaches the Gospel of Hill. She has all the accoutremon (A Woman's Place Is In The White House bag, etc), and becomes effervescent when speaking of the Hill.

Another friend is in her late 80s, and won't listen to anything she deems "against my Democrats". So she can't know that this isn't the same party that she joined many years ago. Sad.

And you would only have to use actual quotes to make it funnier than Airplane!.

It would be like a couple of old, mangy macaws squawking partially remembered phrases at each other.

Deborah,
I have nothing against having a woman in the White House. Indeed, my favored candidate in 1992 was a woman, but for some reason Margaret Thatcher's name was not on the ballot.

It depends on who the woman is and what she stands for.I am sorry that we will never have a Sarah Palin administration, because the Dems smeared her so thoroughly (with some help from the GOPe). I believe she is a woman of proven courage, physical, moral, and political. Nikki Haley looks good to me as a possible President. But I would never vote from someone just because she is a woman.

It's the same thing with black people.I would not vote for somebody for office because he is black, no matter how sharp the crease in his pants may be. I would vote for a black (or other minority) candidate whose beliefs and policy positions I approved. In 1996 I was looking forward to voting for Colin Powell for the presidency. The GOP nomination was his for the asking but sadly he did not have the moral courage to take it.

I had an aunt who voted D all her life, right into the 1980s, although she was about as redneck as you could ask for. She never bothered to see how the Jackass Party was moving away from her beliefs. When I asked her why, it turned out that she was still voting for FDR.
