Knickers is made it on the USA news. They did mention that there is or was another steer that was two inches taller. A few years ago, Richard abd I saw a oxen that were ginormous. I don't know how they'd measure up to Knickers.
I would assume it's 6'4" to the top of the shoulders. The head can move up & down, so it would be hard to get a consistent measurement to the top of the head. And, yeah, the other cattle are a smaller breed and not full grown yet, so it makes Knickers look even bigger. It's a shame there won't be a Knickers, Jr to see if the offspring can beat the original.
That's a lot of beef hamburgers never to reach the grill.

ReplyDeleteI've been next to cows before, if 6'4" is the top of it's head, yeah it's OK but I think those other critters are kinda small.
