Whatever happened to all the old beers? Blatz, Hamm's, Lone Star? I think Pabst Blue Ribbon might still be around in some isolated pockets of the south, but I'm not sure. Now it's all Bud Light, and you might as well put some food color in your water and drink that.

Pabst is getting ready to expand into whiskey.
I had a can of Bud at a party last week, and it tasted like mineral water that had gone about half flat.
Lone Star is still around. It's the favorite of a friend and neighbor up the road here in Hondo, Texas. My other half prefers Shiner Bock.
I miss the Hamm's commercials. Those bears were fun. "Hamm's, from the land of sky blue waters."
