Robert "Beto" O'Rourke has joined the lowing herd of Democrats running, or rather, shambling for president.
Meh. Just another empty suit. Or maybe I should say empty shirt; I don't think I've ever seen him wearing a suit. Very unimpressive guy. Plus, check out his photo at the link; he looks like a freakin' pelican. His chin looks like a stalactite formed by the steady drip of nonsense that's been oozing out of his mouth all his so-called adult life.

Don't underestimate all that. Those exact same attributes elected, and re-elected, another empty suit. If anything, the empty suit candidate requires more focus than the hardline opponent.
Oh, you're absolutely right about that. The empty suit is often much more slippery than someone with some substance.
IMO, Beto is considered the white Barack Obama. It remains to be seen if the Democrats still think that's a good thing.
It'll be fun watching the frictions grow between the various 'identity politics' factions of the Dimocrat party that his announcement has already started to generate.
