I blame FDR generally for making this 'we have to fight Fascism' for virtue myth mainstream (and Hollywood). In the 1930s when the Nazis assassinated the Austrian fascist leader the 2 sides almost went to war. They aren't the same thing. In India they've had a big fascist movement for over a century called the RSS, Gandhi's opponents. Is that 'white supremacy'?
