Washington insiderism is, sadly, incurable
Peggy Noonan thinks that the person most responsible for the attempted coup against Trump is...Trump. Don Surber applies the blowtorch.
You have to remember, they're better and smarter than you. Did I blog for years for nothing? You probably only remember the hotassery and gun pics. Mmmmmmm. Hottasery and gun pics...
It's much like the English class system, which also hypocritically scorned mere businessmen but needed their wealth to survive. Henry James stuff. In fact you have a better chance of becoming King Ralph than wading through the Washington swamp it seems. Unless you're a feted 'minority'.
Spiny, Surber's blog is generally troll free. He's got one resident troll, Anonymous aka Nonny, who pokes his head in the window from time to time. He does seem to have grown quieter though as Trump works on that promise of so much winning. Otherwise, the commenters are a polite and intelligent group.
