Fascinating, if true

At this point, it looks mostly like speculation, but incisive speculation, so we'll see: "Looks like Christopher Steele has cut a deal and will turn state's evidence on Russia Hoax prosecutions".

Definitely a "Whoa! (if true)" moment.

I had no idea PDT's private conversation with Queen was 90 minutes. Seems rather long, even for an "official state visit". Now I am genuinely curious what they spoke about.

(I understand the Queen of England has a great deal more political power than most of we colonials realize. She's not just a figurehead.)

90 minutes? My guess is that the Queen was glad to talk to someone who isn't a PC diplomat for once, and asked his views on everything, just out of repressed curiosity I think. Her whole life's been so stiff and formal, yet the world has changed so much and she has no one to ask 'WTF is going on?' and explain in plain speech. Her 'advisers' are just yes men, often planning to write a book about her, who can she trust? Ivory tower with a dingbat son, a woman who remembers D Day and the Blitz and has seen her country go from Empire to leaderless EU vassal, she must be bursting with questions which Trump will now have unique insights on.

I've often wondered if the Queen could address Parliament and let fly. I guess her words have no legal standing, but I bet something would happen.
Or maybe that's just a fantasy.
