Gilding the lilly

I'm pretty intimidated even without the eyespots (H/T: David Thompson)

Note: According to a couple of people in the comments section of the original post, the eyespots are on the tiger's ears, not back. Still, I assume they serve the same purpode.

As someone who was unexpectedly a few feet from a adult tiger, I can assuredly say that tigers are intimidating, and the white spots are on their ears, not back.

When the elevator doors opened and I saw that beautiful tiger standing there. We stared at each other. I swear I heard Marlin Perkins' voice,'The tiger mesmerizes it's prey before pounching.' Then the trainer instructed to push the button and go downstairs. He reiterated. My eyes remained on the tiger as the doors closed. Realizing that the car wasn't moving, I pushed the down button. The car arrived on the ground floor, but the experience lingered.
