I have a ghost story. One dark night I pulled my truck into a turnout on Califoria 16, west of Rumsey a few miles. I crawled into the bunk and heard "heh heh heh," a truly evil laugh right outside the passenger door. I pulled the blanket over my head and went to sleep.
A couple months later at the same spot, I shut the truck down and knock knock on the door. I switched all the lights on but nobody.
So that's my ghost story. Many times I planned to spend the night there but I would chicken out.
There are more things in this world than we can understand. It might be just a matter of light and dark on an ultrasound negative or it might be her dad. I've experienced things I can't explain, and I imagine most people have at one time or another. Might be human nature, or it might be a true experience. We have no way to know.

A feel good, and a feel bad story, it all balances out. Creepy though Jonah, who knows what it was?

Perhaps "bitter sweet story of the day" would have been a better title.
