This week's winner of the Paco Award for Conspicuous Obnoxiousness

Adam Schiff has collected quite a few of these things lately, but this week the distinguished panel of judges has given the award to George Conway, deranged NeverTrumper and husband of the long-suffering Kellyanne Conway, a stalwart of the Trump administration. Conway referred to Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, who weathered Adam Schiff's rudeness and managed to ask some pointed questions of former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch during the impeachment hearings, as "lying trash".

The only reason this 55-gallon blob of talking dough is allowed on TV at all is because he is a reliable Trump thumper. Enjoy your dubious fame, Georgie boy, because once Trump finishes up his second term, you will have become a fully depreciated asset.

Wow, I knew he was weird (poor Kellyanne), but picking on Stefanik like he's a mean schoolgirl is really nuts.

Kinda noticing too that 'lying' has been redefined by some as 'asking questions we don't want to think about'. They are like a herd of sheep.

Yes, we've reached the stage where they're lying about lying.

Narcissism is pandemic these days, isn't it?

Really surprising that those two stay together. Would be interesting to see if she speaks with him about this stuff. Carville and Matalin were political opposites and rivals but neither was as venomous as George Conway, and they always seemed more like political mercenaries rather than ideologues.

I heard somewhere that Conway was a disappointed office-seeker in the Trump administration; maybe a lot of his venom is fueled by sour grapes.

Matalin and Carville wannabes was my first thought too, Stevew, but Georgie Porgie isn't carrying off his part very well. Carville was bizarre, but at least he was intelligent. Georgie can't say the same.
