Follow-up

"Man eats $120,000 piece of art -- a banana taped to wall".

Frankly, I'm kind of intrigued by friend and commenter Rebecca's speculation that the original "art work" - and other dubious creations like it - might actually be a way of laundering money. Inspired, if true.

There's a lot to suggest that awful art and awful fashion are money laundering schemes.
